AR typography exercises culminated to a final project of a personal reflection on my time spent studying in Rome. The phrase "conosci te stesso" in Italian means "to know oneself." I was inspired by an ancient Greek funerary mosaic seen at a museum. Using this phrase along with 3D materials, typography, images, and sounds from my experiences, I created this AR experience that I filmed in locations across Rome (Piazza del Popolo, Botanical Gardens, Spanish Steps, etc.).
Clicking on each 3D symbol triggers an image and audio that corresponds to my favorite experiences from traveling in Italy.
